auditions and live performance training.

Introduction:

The therapeutic effect of music is well known upon the human organism.

Rhythm therapy offers participants the opportunity to engage fully in the feeling, sensation and fun that only drums can provide. As well as a lively anti stress device

Rhythm therapy classes are an energetic method of personal development that enhance coordination, awareness and concentration.

In learning to play Flamenco boxes or Djembes these sessions teach

control, relaxation and rhythm to participants.

Classes are held in an informal friendly atmosphere. A Combination of live instruments with musical effects, wind, rain, ocean and other natural sounds help in building a truly creative atmosphere. Dancers and performers may also be brought in to assist in classes.

Sessions are facilitated by Carlos Urroz a Spanish percussionist with 25 years of experience in drumming and percussive work. Carlos has spent 15 years as a full time tutor and professional instructor successfully tutoring more than 500 individuals to an enhanced understanding of rhythm and it's place within our life.
